Q. What is the difference between Deluxe Finish and other companies?

Deluxe Finish specializes in garage floor coatings, where other companies may offer to paint your garage floor as a secondary service to basic house painting. These companies do not have the knowledge, nor do they use the industrial strength products and materials necessary to do the proper job.

Q. I thought about painting my garage floor myself is this a good idea?

Unfortunately, all products that are purchased at local hardware or paint stores are made of very cheap and low quality materials. So if you do attempt to do it yourself, no matter how good of a job you think you did, in no time at all the paint will start to break down and peel. Then the floor will look worse than it did before. In so many cases we are hired to remove this old coating and put down our coatings.

Q. Can you install logos?

Yes, not only can we custom blend color chips to match your team colors, but now you can show your team pride by showcasing your favorite College or Pro team logo on your floor as well. The possibilities are endless- racing, baseball, football, etc. Or we can even put your company logo on the floor of your business!

Q.What types of products are used to coat the floor?

We use the industries best polyaspartics, which is three times more durable than typical epoxy and polyurethane coatings.

Q.Do you run any specials, or offer discounts for referrals?

Yes, we offer a 10% discount for you and a 10% discount for your neighbor if they are done at the same time. We also offer a 10% Senior Citizen Discount.

Q.What type of guarantee do I have that the floor won’t peel up?

We give a five year warranty to the original purchaser against peeling and delaminating caused by any defect in the coating product or its application.

Q. Why should I choose the chip system over a solid color floor?

A solid color floor does not hide the imperfections in your concrete. In fact it brings out a lot of them that you didn’t even see before. Also, the solid color might look okay for a while but eventually the dust, dirt and scuffmarks start to show. With the chip system, all of these things are disguised by the different variations in color and texture.

Q.When is the best time of the year to have a floor coated?

By using polyaspartics, we can apply our products 12 months a year. They will cure at temperatures as low as –30 degrees and as high as 150 degrees.

Q.How long does it take to complete a new floor?

We can complete your garage in one day! With our efficient process and our fast curing polyaspartics, you can return your items to the garage and park your cars within a few hours of our completion. With epoxy and polyurethane products it could take three or more days.

Q.How do you prepare the concrete of an old floor?

We prepare all concrete floors with the same method. New or old concrete, we use machines to grind the surface creating the perfect condition for our products to bond with. We will then fill and repair any cracks or holes that might be in your floor.

Q.Is there an odor and how long does it last?

Some of the materials do have a mild odor while we’re applying them. However, the odor will dissipate within a few hours. High-powered fans are used to help ventilate the area. This helps to keep the odors at the lowest levels possible.

Q.How do I clean and care for my new floor?

You will clean your new garage floor the same way you cleaned your old one. Sweeping or blowing it out occasionally will remove any loose debris and dust. You can also wet mop or rinse it out with a garden hose, if needed.
